Ways to Help
Join Our Sacred Circle: WAYS TO HELP
Marilyn Cohen’s vision of nobody ever being turned away for an inability to pay is coming to life thanks to the generous contributions of 200+ volunteers and many in-kind and cash donations. But there is a huge discrepency between current needs and donations. Presently, if a client cannot pay for services or loses funding, Bob and Nikki Cohen-Wichner often simply give services to them with faith that the Lord will provide what they need, even if not always what they want.

Your investment of time, energy and resources supports services provided by nationally certified therapeutic instructors at the Interstate Horse Center (est. 1989). In a natural setting, horse-assisted activities provide powerful tools for building self-esteem, self-awareness, appropriate boundaries and a sense of personal responsibility. Horse Assisted Learning programs extend well-beyond the limits of learning horsemanship skills into the realm of learning life skills. Equine Facilitated Family Therapy is a systems-focused, strength-based form of psychotherapy provided by Nikki Cohen-Wichner, LMFT (licensed Marriage & Family Therapist) with the assistance of her animal colleagues
Starting in 2011, you can also help us honor and support military personnel and their families via the pilot program of Horses for Heroes® we plan to offer free of charge to all participants.
